Welcome to Zentor Medtech

The Next Generation of Refractive Surgery is Here

Zentor Medtech Pvt Ltd has pioneered the development of a solid-state ablation laser technology for the purpose of correcting refractive errors of the eye. Our technology has been validated by the treatment of over 300,000 patients worldwide over more than 15 years, with excellent clinical outcomes.

Following years of rigorous clinical testing and real-world surgical use, Zentor Medtech has now upgraded this proven technology to be more advanced, more precise and more robust. The new generation PULZAR Z+ solid-state ablation laser does not require any expensive or toxic gases — making it one of the most environmentally responsible refractive lasers in the world.

Solid-State Ablation Laser — How It Works

The high-performance PULZAR Z+ integrates solid-state crystal technology with an innovative tracking and mapping system to deliver truly customised treatment of a wide range of vision disorders — with Precise Vision as the outcome.

Scroll-Driven Fading Cards Layout

PRECISE HIGH–RESOLUTION ABLATION

The PULZAR Z+ solid-state laser generates an accurate 0.6mm beam spot with good control of spot characteristics — energy per pulse, fluence and spatial profile — for superior ablation quality across the full prescription range.

NO GAS CHEMISTRY REQUIRED

Three non-linear frequency conversion crystals generate the 213 nm UV wavelength from the Nd:YAG laser source — the core of the PULZAR Z+ solid-state platform. This eliminates the need for toxic gases and gas cylinder storage, reducing gas-related costs, handling requirements, and regulatory burden while supporting a cleaner, greener operating model.

PRECISE TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

A fast closed-loop 1 kHz eye tracking system with real-time position correction throughout the procedure. The intra-operative ZTRAK™ system uses limbus-based tracking to maintain an accurate reference point during treatment — supporting precise sub-millisecond alignment at every pulse.

PRECISE CUSTOM SURGERY SOLUTION

ZCAD™ automated surgical planning uses an intelligent pattern recognition technique to determine each patient's cyclorotation angle — delivering a fully customised treatment plan, personalised to the individual eye anatomy.

PRECISE SOLID–STATE RELIABILITY

The diode-pumped Nd:YAG technology creates a stable, thermally consistent beam with no warm-up drift and minimal sensitivity to environmental humidity — delivering the same precision output on day one as year five.

TREATMENT SCOPE

PULZAR Z+ Pro is designed for a wide range of refractive treatments, including PRK, LASIK, LASEK, and trans-epithelial PRK, with treatment range details to be finalized in the approved clinical specification.

TREATMENT RANGE AND APPLICATIONS

PULZAR Z+ Pro supports a wide range of refractive treatments, including PRK, LASIK, LASEK, and trans-epithelial PRK, with treatment capability for myopia up to -10 D.

The Difference

Why Solid-State Outperforms Excimer

The PULZAR Z+’s small spot, homogeneous Gaussian beam profile, higher repetition rate and unique 213nm wavelength create a new standard in refractive surgery.

01

Clean, Cool Ablation Surface

The solid-state photochemical process produces a clean, smooth ablation surface on corneal tissue with no evidence of thermal effect. The cooler ablation also means the procedure is less sensitive to variations in environmental humidity or tissue hydration.

02

Treats the Untreatable

Advanced ablation capability to address high prescriptions and irregular corneas that fall outside the treatable range of many conventional excimer laser systems — expanding the clinical case-mix significantly.

03

No Gas Chemistry Required

Where excimer systems depend on toxic fluorine gas and cylinder storage, the solid-state PULZAR Z+ reaches its 213nm UV wavelength purely through crystal frequency conversion — no gas at all. Immediate savings on gas costs, handling, and certification, with a cleaner, greener operating model.

04

Presbyopia Correction — PresBvis™

The PULZAR Z+ platform includes the PresBvis™ presbyopia module, extending the system’s capability to age-related near vision loss — a complete vision correction platform addressing the full refractive case‑mix.

05

Higher Repetition Rate

Operating at 300–400Hz pulse repetition rate, the PULZAR Z+ delivers faster overall treatment times compared to lower-repetition excimer systems — reducing patient time under the laser and improving theatre throughput.

06

Long-Life Crystal Design

Unlike excimer fluorine cavities that degrade over time and require scheduled replacement, the Nd:YAG crystal operates reliably for billions of pulses — dramatically reducing system lifecycle costs for the clinic.

Commercial Advantages

A Better Business Model for Your Clinic

Dramatically lower running costs, greater scheduling freedom and higher patient throughput — the PULZAR Z+ transforms the economics of a laser vision correction practice.

No Gas Costs — Ever

Eliminates the need for toxic gases and gas cylinder storage. No fluorine cylinders, no gas contracts, no specialist handling. The PULZAR Z+ runs entirely on electricity.

Surgery Any Day, Any Time

No gas downtime, no extended warm-up, no restricted surgery days. The PULZAR Z+ is ready when you are — spontaneous scheduling and maximum theatre utilisation 7 days a week.

Lower Power Consumption

Crystal laser technology draws significantly less electricity than conventional excimer systems — reducing facility operating costs and improving profit margins from day one of installation.

High Patient Throughput

With a well-organised clinic it is possible to treat 40 patients — 60 to 80 eyes — per day. Faster treatment times, fewer delays, and higher revenue per available theatre hour.

Easier to Use

Streamlined interface and automated ZCAD™ planning reduce the learning curve for theatre teams — minimising operator-dependent variation and improving procedure consistency across your entire clinical programme.

Long Crystal Service Life

Nd:YAG crystals operate for billions of pulses with minimal degradation. Laser working life is assured at a minimum of 15 years — and is not affected by the number of surgeries performed.

Surgeon Voices

What Leading Surgeons Say

Independent feedback from ophthalmic surgeons across five continents with direct clinical experience of the PULZAR solid-state refractive laser system.

In a word — economical. We deliver satisfactory LASIK results at much lower cost. This allowed doctors to perform the procedure with greater profitability.

Results are better with the Pulzar — more consistent, even in complex prescriptions and very high levels of astigmatism, compared to other excimer lasers I have used.

I really do like the solid-state refractive laser and have used it for the last few years without any serious hitches. It is very economical to run. There is less critical need for a dry ablation bed and the ablation is a little cooler.

The machine is fast, easy to use and very cost effective. With a well-organised clinic it is possible to do 40 patients (60-80 eyes) a day.

I have been running a LASIK clinic for more than 20 years and used various lasers — then finally switched to the solid-state laser. What stands out is the running cost compared to other lasers, which is significantly lower, without any difference in quality and results.

I feel the solid-state laser is really the future of refractive surgery. Excellent vision outcomes are achievable at a very competitive cost per eye, and patients benefit from a quieter, more comfortable procedure.
